Brandy Alexander (traditional)

The Alexander was originally a gin based drink but over time has morphed into Brandy cocktail. Known to be a favorite of John Lennon, this is a great after-dinner drink.

Ready

• 1 oz brandy
• 1 oz dark brown creme de cacao
• 1 oz fresh cream
• Nutmeg
• Ice

Set

• Cocktail glass
• Shaker

Go

1. In a shaker half-filled with ice, combine the brandy, creme de cacao, and cream.
2. Shake well.
3. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the nutmeg.
