Corn Dogs & Collars

It’s party season and this is one of my favorite which can be served in many ways. Nothing like these “dogs” for football games or “pups” for a nice buffet.

My friend, Allison, gave me this delicious recipe years ago and whenever I make it people ask me for the recipe. It is a big hit with kids and adults and a great side dish to carne asada, steak and …

Champagne & shrimp risotto

This is a great, simple and delicious risotto recipe. It is easy to prepare provided you are willing to spend the 20 or so minutes required to be standing by the stove top stirring. But the results …

Corn

My daughter likes eating corn off the cob, one kernel at a time. Is it best to remove the kernels before cooking or after?

Also, does anyone have any good techniques for getting those little nuggets off it’s husk? I use a sharp knife, run down the side of the corn.
